Ductless AC for Homes Without Ductwork in Broomfield, CO

Central air needs ducts, and many homes don't have them: boiler-heated houses, additions, converted garages and upstairs rooms the ductwork never reached. A ductless mini-split cools those spaces quietly and efficiently without tearing into walls or ceilings.

How it works

Cooling without ductwork

A ductless system connects an outdoor unit to one or more indoor units through a small refrigerant line. Each indoor unit cools its own zone with its own control, so you only cool the rooms you are using.

We size each indoor unit to its room's cooling load. An oversized unit cycles on and off and never mixes the air well.

Ductless maintenance and repair

Indoor unit cleaning

Blower wheels and coils collect dust and growth over time. Cleaning restores airflow and removes musty smells.

Repairs

Not cooling, leaking water, error codes or noisy operation. We repair all major brands.

Ducts may be the better fix

If the room is close to existing ductwork, a new supply and return may solve it for less. We'll tell you which makes more sense.

FAQ

Ductless AC questions

Can I add air conditioning to a home with a boiler?

Yes. Ductless mini-splits are one of the best ways to cool a boiler-heated home without installing ductwork.

Can mini-splits cool a whole house?

Yes. A multi-zone system can run several indoor units from one outdoor unit, each with its own control. Whether that beats central air depends on your home, so we look at both.

How do I keep a mini-split running well?

Clean the filters every month or two during the cooling season, and have the indoor units and coils professionally cleaned during regular maintenance.

Do you repair ductless systems?

Yes. We repair and maintain all major ductless brands.
